The #SpringFlingVoxBox was all about beauty and comfort.
BEAUTY: Rimmell London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara: Thick, full, wide-eyed glamour! Mascara is my favorite beauty product ever, and it was fun to experiment with #RetroGlam looks, watch the videos at RimmelModcasts.com, and show off my bold eyes. The shape of the brush managed to magically plump up my lashes for extra volume. No clumps; just all-around awesomeness. It made me feel like a 60’s movie star! Kiss Everlasting French Nails: I loved my no-chip #everlastingfrench manicure! I had never tried a French manicure at home and thought it would be a hassle…nope! It was easy to figure out, and the set had Flex-Fit Technology to ensure ultra-comfort and a perfect fit. The box included:
28 French Nails (14 Sizes)
Pink Gel Glue (2g)
Softlips® Pomegranate Blueberry Cube: Berry fun! A tasty, innovative lip balm that kept my lips smooth and hydrated. It also comes in Fresh Mint and Vanilla Bean flavors.
NIVEA Skin Firming Hydration Lotion: Who doesn’t want firmer, more toned skin? This is high-quality lotion. But you don’t just have to take my word for it; get your free sample of #NIVEASkinFirming here! Playtex® Sport® Fresh Balance™: Do we love tampons? No. Do we need them? Often. Can they help us overcome challenges? That would be ideal! These are meant to help you #PlayOn so there are no restrictions on what you can do during that time of the month. I am very active, so these suit me perfectly. Peach Pie Car Freshener from the Labor Day Movie: A delectable peach pie evokes the sweetness of this movie, starring Kate Winslet and Jason Reitman. Do you know a good candidate for this competition?? Good luck!
We recently visited the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum in Florida. The original lighthouse, built in 1824, was lost to a storm, but the new tower was completed in 1874, and a brick light keeper’s house was added to the site two years later.
The St. Augustine Lighthouse rises 165 feet above sea level and offers a fabulous view from the top. We did manage to walk up all 219 steps (though not without a few rests along the way)! “We have a light upon our house, and it gives hope to all who sail upon the stormy seas. Do ya know what it means to have a light burning atop your home? It is safety, a place of refuge, seen by all as a signal that ye stand for something greater than this world, greater than us all.”
― James Michael Pratt, The Lighthouse Keeper Have you visited any historic lighthouses? Do you have a favorite lighthouse?
My sister and her new husband have been on their honeymoon in Aspen, so I thought I would share some of their fabulous photos.
They love skiing, snowboarding, taking photos of the gorgeous scenery, and visiting all the great restaurants in town!
I hope winter is treating YOU well! Have you been to Aspen? Do you have a favorite place to go skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, or snowshoeing?
